MTTCC #33 Theme is Fireplace Scene and or Stocking

MTTCC #33 challenge theme of Fireplace Scene and/or Stocking(s)

April 29- May 12, 2022

start and end times are same at 6am UK or 12am Central Time USA/Chicago

For this Christmas winter holiday theme, you may show a fireplace setting or stocking(s) or combine both. Who doesn't love having or wanting to have a fireplace to warm up on a cold winter night? Don't adults like having a stocking stuffed with goodies just as much as kids??? What will you choose to do for your Christmas card entry?

This is what the Design Team found time to craft=

DT inspiration projects:

Mags B card 1

Mags B card 2

Granmargaret

Becca (card 1)

Becca (card 2)

Helen

These are fantastic and festive! Thanks DT! Meena's had a difficult day, so her project is halfway done, so I will edit it in when she's able to finish. Keep her in your thoughts!

Wherever you are in the world, we hope you will find time to craft Christmas with us during the next 13 days! There's lots of possibilities with having the option of showing the stocking  or showing the fireplace or combining them. We can't wait to see your winter holiday cards!

Use the Inlinkz tool address that is provided after this. If and when the submissions reach 50, the Inlinkz will close. I/Becca will be monitoring throughout the 13 days to see if a 2nd link-up needs to be added. Competition starts at 6am UK, Friday April 29, 2022 (or 12am CST/Chicago) and it ends at the same times of day on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Best wishes!

We appreciate our MTTCC blog followers and participants for your support!

Let's make time to craft Christmas all year long. If you started with us in January, you should have 7 holiday cards made so far. If you make 1 for each remaining challenge before December 25, you should make a set of 15. Wouldn't that ease lots of stress in December?

Best wishes!

Top 3 bragging rights go to these 3 crafters (by their order of entry submission):

#1= Alex; he fussy cut his bell image and then surrounded it with an amazing embossed border

#2= Lori P; she included a small jingle bell tied in the red bow at the top center of her holiday card

#4= Meg; she did a split image layering of her bell image

CONGRATS!!!

Challenge #31 Top 4 or is it 5 Picks Decision

Top Picks for MTTCC #31 Announcement

We apologized for the delay. Our DT is worldwide and time differences plus a holiday weekend caused this late posting.

With 4 crafters representing 5 entries, DT member Mags B has asked that all 4 receive the "Top 3" bragging rights honor. I agree.

In order of submission:

#1= Sparkly Pink is Ileana A.

#2 and #5 = Nicolette

#3= Elle-jeanne

#4= Margreet

Thank you so much to these crafters finding time to craft Christmas!
We appreciate your support of MTTC!
On behalf of Mags B, myself/Becca, and the rest of the crew--

Challenge #32 started April 15th and the theme is bells. We do accept other winter holidays like Hanukkah, Kwanza, and New Year's Day. The bells would really be perfect for 'ringing in the New Year',

MTTCC #32 Theme is Bells

#32 MTTCC = Ring the Bells! Clash the Cymbals!

Let's find some time to craft Christmas cards with a symbol for telling news and gaining people's attention! Does this theme remind you of a town crier declaring the time of day or shout out some alarming news? Are angels ringing bells in heaven? Or what about Salvation Army bell ringers or church handbell choirs playing from the balcony or the platform?

Good Tidings of Great Joy!

Bells theme: think of sleigh bells, jingle bells, choir handbells, that make jingling or clanging sound,  etc. for your Christmas cards

starts April 15, 2022 and goes to April 28, 2022

start and end dates' times are the same= 6:00am UK or 12:00am Central Time/Chicago

DT inspiration projects show a variety of festive bells:

Participants' entries will be commented on by design team members. Selection of the Top 3 for bragging rights is a duty rotated within the design team. A separate short post will be made after the competition ends on April 28, 2022.

Use the Inlinkz tool address to submit your project's photo. We appreciate your support. The number of entries will cap at 50 with this address. If or when it reaches 50, a 2nd Inlinkz address will be edited in to start the second batch of 50 spaces for entering. Best wishes!

MTTCC #31 Technique to Use 3 or more Patterned Papers on Christmas card

No April Fool's for me! I have snow at my house! Incredible! Daffodils and crocus have already bloomed. Tulips are coming up. So are the summer tiger lilies. Oh my!

Might as well get everyone interested in making Christmas cards!

MTTCC's #31 Theme=
April 1-April 14, 2022
is not a topic but a technique or format requirement to use 3 or more patterned papers on a Christmas card. This challenge begins April 1, 2022. You, the participant, can pick the Christmas topic (reindeer, Santa, elves, gifts, stockings, wreath, etc.)! What will you choose?

The MTTCC design team has been creatively brilliant and resourceful crafting their inspiration projects.

Granmargaret used 4 pattern papers

Becca (snowy night sky card 1; using 3 prints)

Becca (snowy night sky card 2; using 3 prints)

Mags B card 1

6 papers (including the Gnome's nose!)

Mags B Card 2
5 papers

Meenaa Herale
Bookmark ( used 4 types of pattern papers)

Aren't these excellent inspiration for showing the variety of Christmas/wintery patterned papers/cardstocks that are available and how we can use them!!! Superb!

Now it's your turn to find time to craft Christmas!

What 3 or more patterned papers do you have to mix and match? Join us by using the Inlinkz tool address posted below. Competition runs from April 1, 2022 starting at 6 am UK (12 am Central Time/Chicago) and ending also at 6am UK/12 am Central Time/Chicago on April 14, 2022.
